I setup and currently maintain this WordPress-based art portfolio by a favorite local painter 🙂
The artist has given me the free reigns in organizing and presenting his portfolio. He also gives suggestions from time to time as well.
For the pictures, I receive raw images for the paintings taken via tablet device, which I enhance to match and represent it’s in-person texture and color vibrancy better.
I also track down and compile information like the art’s title, copy, dimension, or media used.
For the blog content, I collate and edit them from the artist’s social media posts. I would then fill in and organize other necessary information to tell his story in a clearer way. Sometimes, I would combine several posts in one as well, and do additional background research and linking for better references accuracy.
