Graphic design for print advertisement
I was commissioned to do a poster to announce an important change of memo regarding lunch break hours. Locally, offices do not operate in respect of the common lunch hour of 12 noon to 1 PM. This new memo was that it was removed and all government offices will be servicing people even during lunch hour.
I thought about turning the clock time area to “green”, to signal “go” / “ready” / “open”. This way it’s easily understandable even if you only look at the picture and the office logo, even if you didn’t read through the article.
This ad was printed in two local broadsheets, and printed collateral in several branch offices as part of the company’s dissemination campaign.
